just dance, it'll be okay! day 13!

that's a picture of me helene madison camille and hanna cotton in the car on the way home from the dance. Justine was in the front seat taking the picture. thanks justine! im gonna miss every1!

okay so on thursday we went to a pottery place where its a family business adn saw how they made the pottery and then we were able to buy pottery at their shop. then we rode the bus to a park with some big fountains and sat and ate lunch then we walked over to a huge meadow and layed there for like an hour and a half. then we went to a roman bath house. when we got there we went in to the 1st floor and we were warned and not allowed to go on the 2nd floor was the naked floor. ewwwww! gross! i mean seriously why would you even go up there naked in public?!?!?!?!?! eww! but it was the 1st floor where everyone stayed. it was soooooooooooo relaxing! there was a normal temperature pool and a really hot pool and a really really freezing cold pool. and a tannign thing and a massage room but i didnt use either but i did walk in the tanning uv light thingy room. and there was a sinus cleansing sauna thing.i went in the sauna thing a lot for like 5-10 or 15 minutes at a time. then later we went and got changed and dryed our hair and stuff like that because there were hair dryers at the spa changing room areas. then we rode a bus for like 30-45 minutes back to Strasbourg. then we went to a party/dance that the French kids and St. Ettienne threw for us like we did for them with the dance that we raised over $1200 dollars at! woo hoo! go Global Club! it was from 6-10 p.m. and camille's friend Helene Suss drove us and Justine Damlincourt home because none of her parents can drive and we didnt get home until like 11 or 11:15 p.m. and i was sooooooooooooooooooooooo tired. but i had a really fun time!

EUROPA PARK! day 12!

okay so today the americans and the french went on a trip to EUROPA PARK. Europa Park is the biggest amusment park in Europe. i road silver star which is the roller coaster in Europe. I also rode the bluefire. it's a new really cool one! we waited in line for 1 hour and 30 minutes. and then we had to meet up adn i went with aurilie and dorothy and grey and oriane adn morgan adn zac and coty adn hanna cotton and i. we rode a bunch of rides but grey and dorothy dont like roller coasters so they didnt ride them. before we rode blue fire we rode a water rafting ride for dorothy and grey adn it was like a water ride in disney world in animal kingdom that i rode. well i am going to go to sleep so au revior!

viva la bowling! day 11!

okay so that picture has nothing to do with france well belgium actually. madison took it in brugge, belgium on sunday. but i thought it was pretty so i put it on my blog. well today we went bowling with the french kids. we bowled for like 2 or 3 hours. and i lost the first game and i dont remember the score for the second game haha. i got this cool drink that was called a diabolo and it was some kind of strawberry drink syrup and fizzy water. it was really good! and then we left the bowling alley and had 3 hours of free time. so camille and helene and anne took molly me madison hanna cotton and aryn o'connor to lunch at a pizzeria. we had a really good pizza and it was like personl pizza but it was the size of like an extra small regular pizza at like pizza hut or domino's. and then camille took us to get souveniors for our families and then we got ice cream! it was soooooo good! it was double scoop! and i got chocolate and vanilla. it was the best vanilla ice cream i've ever had! then we went back to the school and waited an hour for everyone to get there and then we went to the european parliament building. the place was really cool but our tour guide talked too much adn it was kind of boring. but i felt bad for him because everyone was falling asleep and being disrespectful to him. i almost fell asleep but i stayed awake after a few minutes so was able to stay awake. then we left after we toured the new part of the parliament building and then went back to the school where i waited another hour until 7 from like 5:50 or 6:00 p.m. because Camille had math class until 7:00 p.m. then we came home and had american BBQ for dinner with green beans! and i had more ketchup! i am not soooooo deprived of it annymore! haha! au revior! europapark tommorow! yayy!

viva la Paris! Day 10!!!!!

okay so today we went to Paris! we went to the Lourve and the Eiffel Tower! in the Lourve we saw the Mona Lisa by Leonardo de Vinci, the Venus de Milo and a bunch of other famous stuff! it was the experience of a lifetime! our group stopped like an hour early on the tour so like 5 of us went on with 1 being Ms. McEwen. before we went to the Lourve we went to the Eiffel Tower! we went in the elevator to the 2nd floor and walked around and had french fries and a sandwich for lunch! i had ketchup! it was sooooo good! haha well then when we left we walked down the stairs from the 2nd floor! i started counting steps when we got to the first floor. there was 267 steps roughly just from the first floor to the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my gosh my calves hurt sooooooo bad! haha well here is a picture of me at the Eiffel Tower, and beside it is a picture of me holding up the upside down glass pyramid! haha

sunday in Lille! day 9!

on sunday we woke up at 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. and went to brugge belgium today! it was sooooooo pretty! we walked all around the city! i bought some postcards and chocolate and some other stuff for my friends. it was soooooooooooooooo nice! after we walked around the city like twice wewalked back to the car. then we rode the like hour and somethign minutes ridiculous ride back to Lille in a cramped little VOLVO, and yes i did say VOLVO, but not likie Edward's volvo :( and it was me marc camille then maddie in a row in like 3 seats. camille and maddie slept\and i didnt because i was squished and un comfortable.:( then when we got back to Lille we stayed at the house in the afternoon and at 7:00 p.m. we went to the train station and road a train back to Strasbourg.

viva la france day 8!

okay so saturday we went to an art exhibit in Lille adn saw some crazy art and sculptures. then we went back to camille's dad's house and had lunch. then later on we went shopping! i bought a vest and a shirt and a spring color scarf. then we went home adn her friends came over. we drove 45 minutes to Belgium for dinner. we had yummy chicken but it was really spicy. then we drove back home and i went to bed at like 12 because we got back at like 11:30 p.m. or something like that. haha. au revior!

okay so today we saw teh president! we saw barrack obama! we got to the cinema early and went through the lines for them to check tickets and then we got on buses and went to the arena where it would be held. then we went through security. then we went in and listened to him say a spee ch after waiting like é hrs and then like 30 or 45 minutes bcuz he wuz late. then he asked questions from the audience. then afterwards we left after waiting to be dismissed and then once we rode the busses back to our areas madison and i told mr. hager we were leaving and bye. then we wen tback to camille's house and cleaned our messy (haha my bad lol) room. then we rode a train to lille. then her father picked us up at the train station and brought us to his house. we met her family which is her brother who is 12 and step mom and dog and of course her father. then we went to our room; au revior! good night!
